We are a small workshop. We keep what we need to make your piece and get it to you, and nothing else.
What we hold
- Your name, email and phone number, so we can talk to you about an order.
- Any delivery address you save.
- What you have ordered, and what it cost.
- Whether you asked for the newsletter, and the exact wording you agreed to.
What we store in your browser
Your basket and your sign-in are kept in this browser so the site works. They stay on your device, they are not cookies sent to anyone, and they are not used to follow you around the internet.
We would also like to count visits, so we know which pieces people actually look at. That only happens if you accept it. .
Who else sees it
Our website runs on Vercel and our database is Supabase, hosted in the European Union. Email is sent through Resend. Each of them handles the information only to provide that service. We do not sell anything about you to anyone, ever.
Your rights under POPIA
The Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything wrong or out of date
- Ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Object to how we are using it
- Withdraw your consent where we relied on it
- Complain to the Information Regulator
If you have an account you can see and download everything we hold from your account. Otherwise email us and we will answer within 30 days.
One thing to be plain about: we have to keep order and tax records for five years, so closing an account removes your details rather than your order history.
