Whyni Wood is a family workshop in Cape Town making solid wood furniture and homeware to order, from Africa shaped serving boards to oak and steel desks. No flat packs, no veneer over chipboard.
We work in oak, ash, kiaat, teak and blackwood. Every piece is made one at a time, which is why your size and your idea are the starting point rather than an upcharge.

From message to delivery
No showroom, no sales process. A WhatsApp message is enough to start.
Tell us the idea
Send a photo of the space, a rough sketch or a reference picture. Dimensions help, but we can work them out with you.
Quote and timber
We come back with a fixed price, the timber options and a lead time. Nothing gets cut until you are happy.
Built by hand
Cut, joined, sanded and finished in the Cape Town workshop. We send progress photos as it comes together.
Delivered
Collection from the workshop, or local delivery arranged across Cape Town. Care instructions come with every piece.
